We're engaged!!

It's official everyone, we are now fiancés!

I know a lot of people are simply saying 'finally', but we are more excited than anyone ever before!!

Here's how it happened: on saturday we 'got lost' for nearly an hour and a half on country lanes (all part of eug's master plan) and out of the blue we found a castle, down a long straight road with two long lines of tall trees.


At the castle they'd prepared our private dining room just for the two of us with a candle-light dinner, personal waiter and a deliiiiiicous 3 (or 4?) course meal! Our waiter was excellent, he treated us like a prince and princess in our castle; he prepared the dining room, put on some nice music, and played our song just at the right time, and even brought in the ring, and he presented us with a bottle of good champaigne with compliments from the staff. how cool is that!?

It didn't all go that smoothly, as young miss Trueman was in tears and needed some good old fashioned TLC, and 'the question' had to be repeated 5 times, but we got there in the end.

The ring is only a temporary ring (a little handmade one), but we are getting one made.

Technically nothing has changed between us, but man it is such a good feeling to be engaged :)
